Wildfire Information

Wellington Fire Protection District works with local partners on a daily basis to help monitor and assess fire risks. Depending on where you live, your fire restrictions and regulations can be different.

​Wellington Fire also offers free wildfire mitigation surveys to residents within our district. Our crews can visit your property to identify potential fire hazards and provide recommendations on how to reduce wildfire risk. To schedule an appointment, email wfpd@wfpd.org or call 970-568-3232.
