Wellington Fire Protection District works hard to bring meaningful programs and services to the citizens we serve. We also enjoy partnering with organizations and projects to provide events or programs that help make our community special!

Our goal at Wellington Fire Protection District is to ensure that all citizens have access to lifesaving information and to help them develop skills to keep them safe through every stage of life.

Fire Station and Engine Tours
Wellington Fire Protection District invites you to be our guest! We welcome school groups, scouts, community organizations, and families to schedule a visit to one of our fire stations. Ride-Along Program

Are you considering a career in the fire service? Curious about what firefighters do beyond fighting fires? Firefighters respond to medical emergencies, rescues, and more. If you'd like to learn about the work we do, consider signing up for our Ride-Along Program. This opportunity lets you shadow firefighters during the day, offering a firsthand look at the diverse and fast-paced nature of the job.

School Visits

Our firefighters are available to visit local schools and share age-appropriate lessons on fire prevention, safety, and what to do in an emergency. Students will also get a chance to learn about firefighting equipment, meet the firefighters, and ask questions about the job. These visits are a great way to promote safety awareness while giving students a fun and interactive experience.

Community Events

Our firefighters regularly attend local events throughout the year, providing opportunities to connect with the public, share safety information, and showcase the equipment and work we do.

From festivals and parades to safety demonstrations and open houses, these events are a great way to meet your local firefighters and learn more about fire prevention and emergency services in a fun, interactive setting.

Wildfire Mitigation Survey

Wellington Fire offers free fire mitigation surveys to residents within our district. Our crews can visit your property to identify potential fire hazards and provide recommendations on how to reduce risk.
