At 7:07 am Wellington Fire was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 7902 4th St. Engine 91 arrived at 7:10 am and reported a working fire from a small single-family home. Initial walk-around revealed the fire to be in the garage and possibly the attic space. Primary search was completed with no further victims found. PFA Engine 12 assisted with fire control. PFA Engine 6 conducted a roof assessment and prepared for ventilation. One Sheriff deputy was treated for dog bites. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The residence is uninhabitable until restoration efforts are completed.
