Welcome to our website! It is an honor to introduce you to the Wellington Fire Protection District, an all-hazards emergency response organization serving 288 square miles of territory in the northern Front Range including the town of Wellington and the communities of Waverly, Buckeye and Norfolk.The Wellington Fire Department is committed to the safety, health and wellbeing of our residents and visitors by providing fire suppression, fire prevention, public education, EMS, rescue and hazardous materials response by professionally trained and dedicated firefighters and EMT’s. WFPD contracts its Emergency Medical Transport Services to UCHealth, who provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to our entire District.
