Since 1951, Wellington Fire Protection District has provided fire suppression, rescue, extrication, hazardous materials, emergency medical, public education, and risk reduction services to 288 square miles of northern Larimer County, including the Town of Wellington, Waverly, Buckeye, and surrounding communities.
