Steve Sarno        (Incumbent)

Half of my 40 years of Fire Service experience came from being a volunteer EMT and Firefighter for Kersey and Wellington, where I held every office up to and including Chief at WFPD. This experience gives me the confidence of knowing how decisions are made by the board may affect the day to day operations of the firefighters and have a better understanding of those decisions and policies. The second half came from serving on the board of WFPD where this department saw major changes and transformed from an all volunteer to a paid department. I am a native of Colorado and CSU graduate. I have lived in the Waverly area for 32 years. I very much look forward to continuing to build on what this department began in 1905 and provide the best EMS service possible to the community.
