NOTICE OF ELECTION
POLLING PLACE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and, particularly, to the electors of the Wellington Fire Protection District of Larimer County, Colorado:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on May 2, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Board of Directors of the District have designated the following polling place:
Station 16, 8130 3rd St, Wellington, CO 80549
At said election, the electors of the District shall vote for two (2) candidates to serve the following terms of office on the Board of Directors of the District:
The names of persons nominated as Directors for four-year terms are:

Steve Sarno
Richard Bollinger
John Alexander Hunter
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that an eligible elector of said district for the purpose of said election is a person registered to vote in Colorado and who has been a resident of the District, or who, or whose spouse or civil union partner, owns taxable real or personal property within the District, whether said person resides within the District or not, or a person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District shall be considered an owner of taxable property for the purpose of qualifying as an eligible elector.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that applications for absentee voter ballots may be requested from and filed with, and replacement ballots may be received from, Kurt Schlegel, Designated Election Official (DEO) of the Wellington Fire Protection District at kurt@specialdistrictsolutions.com until close of business on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
WELLINGTON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly, to the eligible electors of the WELLINGTON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ("District") of Larimer County, Colorado.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the District will conduct a regular election on the 2nd day of May, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, (2) two directors will be elected for a 4-year term expiring in May 2027.
In order to be a candidate for one of the director positions, a qualified individual must submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form. Eligible electors of the District interested in serving on the Board of Directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District’s Designated Election Official (DEO):

If the DEO determines that a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form is not sufficient, the eligible elector who submitted the form may amend the form once, at any time, prior to 5:00 p.m. Mountain time on Friday, February 24, 2023, the deadline for submission of a signed and witnessed Self-Nomination and Acceptance form.
Affidavit of Intent to be a Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the designated election official by the 5:00 p.m. Mountain time on Monday, February 27, 2023 (the sixty-fourth day before the election).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for absentee ballot shall be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business on Tuesday immediately preceding the election, April 25, 2023.
